SESAP® 16, the Surgical Education and Self-Assessment Program, is a premier educational resource for practicing surgeons who want to assess and maintain their clinical knowledge in the essential areas of general surgery. The American College of Surgeons, Division of Education, has developed 850 problem-based, multiple-choice questions with concise critiques that provide evidence-based explanations regarding all the answer choices, as well as supporting references and images.

All SESAP 16 subscribers may access mobile applications of the program. For the best experience with SESAP 16, use the mobile apps while connected to the Internet and install the app on one device only. An Internet connection is required to set up your mobile app for the first time, view videos, submit feedback on items, and claim CME credit.

It is possible to work offline on the mobile apps. However, an Internet connection is necessary to synchronize data between the app and Web versions of SESAP 16. After working offline or experiencing a temporary loss of Internet connectivity, follow the prompts to sync your device.
